About the event
Rooted Chefs is a youth cooking workshop series that cultivates empowerment and confidence in the kitchen. Geared towards kids aged 10years+, we explore mindfulness based practices, intentional cooking, and learn the basics from how to chop, peel, knead, bake, and sauté, to reading and creating recipes. Drawing upon the teachings of Ayurveda and yoga we weave in the importance of our connection with nature and how to cook with the seasons and bring balance to ourselves.
